IS THERE A TRUMP EFFECT? – AMERICANS AND AMERICAN WORKERS FIRST

    Whether you love or hate President Trump, one has to notice the decidedly “American theme” to the national news and what’s reported on by the on-air and print media. Of course, we cannot escape the horrendous terror attacks in the world and right here on American soil, but it was refreshing to this journalist to see and read the stories on the President’s efforts on his campaign promises about bringing jobs back to America, or maybe a better description is preventing jobs from leaving (Carrier, Ford) even before inauguration day, something unheard of by previous President-elects.

   What the President’s selection of so many big corporate types to serve in the new cabinet says is no one will need to learn on the job, at the expense of taxpayers and America. He pointed out his cabinet has “the highest IQ of any Cabinet ever.” 

   Throughout this country, Clinton’s rabid supporters are still asking themselves, how could their “entitled” candidate not be the first female president of the United States, and moan how their “candidate” doesn’t come across as the real life person they know her to be. This is why.

1. No one, especially Clinton, is entitled to be President of these United States;
2. The Clintons are a part of, a huge part of, America’s economic decline and failed economic policies (remember the North American Free Trade Agreement which former President Bill Clinton has now apologized for);
3. President after President sat by and endorsed policies that saw the continual move of manufacturing plants and jobs to foreign countries. American workers remind this country of workers they know who were flown to Mexico to train their “factory replacements” – refusal to do so meant no severance pay! No extortion involved there; and
4. The latest news release indicates, the Clinton Family Foundation is firing staff and closing its doors, “a result of the gusher of foreign money that kept the foundation afloat suddenly drying up after Hillary Clinton failed to win the presidency.” The Investor’s Business Daily has long claimed “The Clinton Foundation was little more than an influence-peddling scheme to enrich the Clintons, and had little to do with ‘charity,’ either overseas or in the U.S.” 

   American workers relate to President Trump because he addressed the very reason their jobs were shipped overseas, and the hometowns of generations became ghost towns as residents were forced to seek a job and make a living elsewhere.

Has any American President ever threatened corporate America with “make your product in a foreign country – pay a tax to sell it in America?” 

The “Buy America/Made in America” Campaign that started several years back may just have been a prelude to what many Americans believe was the President’s winning political strategy – put America and American workers FIRST.

While former President Obama did more for the American Indian than any other President in this country’s history, he, like the Clintons and Bushes, never put the American worker/middle class Americans first.

A political cartoon appearing in 2011 showed President Obama sitting in the Oval office with a banner in the background “BUY AMERICAN,” with the words “Made in China” clearly shown at the bottom as maker of the banner.

Yes, a cartoon, but very, very poignant. Former President Obama did not put Americans first in their own country. Anything but. In reviewing the first inaugural address given in 2009, newly sworn-in President Obama said, “We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus – and nonbelievers.” In the following paragraph of the address, newly sworn-in President Obama said, “To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward based on mutual interest and self-respect.” This should have been a warning to America. Except for bleeding-heart liberals such as the Clintons (and the Obamas), ordinary Americans do not want a “new way forward based on mutual interest and self-respect.”

   No, America is not a nation of Muslims! As the years passed, this is what you, Mr. Obama, have tried to make us into and America is probably the nearest to revolt against its government since the Boston Tea Party. That is why Americans voted for Donald J. Trump!!!

Readers, ask yourself this question:  Do ordinary Americans want American soldiers to be killed in such a war as is going on in Afghanistan? Even the Russians were smart enough to finally give up on that one, yet American soldiers continue to sacrifice their lives, and for what? For America to become more of a Muslim nation?
