WOKE AND THE CAREER POLITICIAN

It is now a new year according to the calendar, and reams have been written about welcoming the new year in, and those abhorred resolutions. What does the term “new year” really amount to? Not wishing to burst anyone’s bubble, but stop to think about it:  “New” typically describes something you have not had before. Here is how the good old dictionary defines the adjective “new”:

  • not existing before; made, introduced or discovered recently or now for the first time – example, new crop variety;

  • already existing but seen, experience or acquired recently or now for the first time – her new bike; and

  • just beginning or beginning anew and regarded as better than what went before – starting a new life.

Now, to begin with, Merriam Webster “almost always” beats all others to the draw with getting new words in the dictionary. Here is one receiving a lot of notoriety. Webster says:”Woke is now define in this dictionary as ‘aware of and actively attentive to important facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice),” and identified as U. S. slang. “It originated in African American English, and gained more widespread use beginning in 2014 as part of the Black Lives Matter movement. By the end of that same decade, it was also being applied by some as a general pejorative for anyone who is or appears to be politically left-leaning.”

The rhetoric espoused by New York Representative “AOC” has evidently begun to wear thin with the mainstream media. Even the mainstream media had to take note of “AOC’s” lavish style – remember pictures of “AOC” in the designer gown with “Tax the Rich” emblazoned on the back in red. That fiasco resulted in discovery of tax debts across the country owed by the dress designer. Seems “AOC” is a “do as I say, not as I do” socialist pushing representative now getting paid to pass laws for us ordinary Americans.

Further, somewhere back in time, the word “woke” surfaced from African American Enghlish, and now is a term elevated to refer to “an awareness of social justice and in particular, racial issues.” Woke is now looked on as a “movement began in the African American community and the acceptance of black liberation theology, another name for Marxism, and is also being used to explain an awakening to issues of race, gender and sexual injustice.”

Christians deal with such issues as “individual sins rather than group rights or identity politics.” Reading about woke-ism reveals little superficial knowledge of the Bible.

As observed by Gene Edward Keith, Jr., “There is nothing in woke-ism literature about repenting from individual sins unless you are white, conservative, a capitalist and heterosexual.”

The opinion offered by Keith, Jr. is most demonstrative when looking back over the past few years since “Black Lives Matter” took over the demonstrations across the country, and now with the January 2021 attack on the Capital in Washington, D. C. under formal investigation.

In “Are You Woke? What Is the Woke Movement? A Fact Sheet. Jack Settler wrote, “In postmodernism, the intellect is replaced by will, reason by emotion and morality by relativism. Reality is nothing more than a construct; truth equals power. Your identity comes from a group. Postmodernism is characterized by fragmentation, indeterminacy, and a distrust of all universalizing (worldviews) and power structures (the establishment. It is a worldview that denied all worldviews (“stories”).  In a nutshell, post modernism says there are no universal truths valid for all people. Instead, individuals are locked into the limited perspective of their own race gender or ethnic group. It is Nietzsche in full bloom.

FYI:  Nietzsche refers to a philosophy source of 20th philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche “who is known as a critic of Jude-Christian morality and religion in general. One of the arguments he raised against truthfulness of the doctrines is that they are based upon the concept of free will, which in his opinion, does not exist.”

Give this some thought and consideration. It is quite telling abut just how lacking mainstream media is investigatively into Woke-ism. Would Woke-ism have had the smooth slide into prominence had the public realized or suspected it was simply a new manifestation of reality-denialism in the Black community?

Kettler further opines, Woke-ism originated among Jewish Marxists in France when they could no longer deny the abject failure of Marxism, so they invented postmodernism as a way of attempting to deny critics of Marxism for being right all along. Postmodernism and cultural Marxism attempt to direct people’s attention away from the horrors of the communist mast genocides 9in Russia, in China, etc.) by focusing on how Western civilization does not meet the standards of their left wing utopia. It is an anti-science reality-denying cult for those that choose to live bu emotion rather than reason. Blacks should avoid this like them plague that it is.

And so, here we are in the 21st Century with the Democrats, Bernie Sanders, Chuck Schumer and, can’t leave out socialist in disguise House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, driving this country into socialism. What a country to allow these people to be elected to office. and then pay them to stay for decades.
